Vocational Courses

Education that equips individuals for a skilled trade as a tradesperson, technician, or artisan is known as vocational education. Vocational education is sometimes defined as the kind of education that equips a person with the necessary skills to work for themselves or as a gainful employee. Vocational education is known by a variety of names, depending on the country concerned, including career and technical education.

One kind of educational facility created especially to offer vocational education is a vocational school. At the post-secondary, further education, or higher education levels, vocational education can be combined with the apprenticeship program. Vocational education is typically offered at the post-secondary level by highly specialized trade schools, technical schools, institutes of technology (previously known as polytechnic institutes), community colleges, and vocational universities.

Delhi Board of Senior Secondary Education has started initially two vocational courses:

• Nursery Teachers Training course

Teachers who wish to instruct and care for pupils at the nursery or pre-primary level can enroll in the Nursery Teachers Training (NTT) program, which is a diploma program. The standard TT course training is required of this teaching workforce before they can enter the ranks of multiple preschool teachers. In order to support the developing minds of nursery school children, the NTT course benefits students who want to become preschool instructors. Nursery or NTT Candidates completing the one-year Teacher Training Course Diploma Program are qualified to teach in elementary or play schools. Any background can enroll in this course straight after passing Class 12. In order to guarantee that students who are new to formal education understand the fundamentals, teachers must receive the greatest training methods available.

• Montessori Teacher Training

The goal of the Montessori training program is to give participants the information and abilities needed to become certified Montessori instructors. It highlights the tenets of the Montessori method, an all-encompassing educational strategy that prioritizes the holistic development of the child. Aspects of the Montessori method that are covered in the program include child psychology, the use of educational materials and activities, and efficient teaching techniques. People can acquire the skills required to give kids an engaging, rich learning experience and a greater grasp of the Montessori philosophy by enrolling in the Delhi board of Senior Secondary Education's Montessori training program.
